The Anti-Spam SMTP Proxy (ASSP) Server project aims to create an open source platform-independent SMTP Proxy server which implements auto-whitelists, self learning Hidden-Markov-Model and/or Bayesian, Greylisting, DNSBL, DNSWL, URIBL, SPF, SRS, Backscatter, Virus scanning, attachment blocking, Senderbase and multiple other filter methods. Ophcrack is a Windows password cracker based on a time-memory trade-off using rainbow tables. This is a new variant of Hellman's original trade-off, with better performance. It recovers 99.9% of alphanumeric passwords in seconds.

Darik's Boot and Nuke ("DBAN") is a self-contained boot image that securely wipes hard disk drives (HDDs). DBAN is appropriate for personal use, bulk data destruction, or emergency data destruction for HDDs, but is not recommended for solid-state drives (SSDs), sanitization that requires auditable compliance documentation, or technical support.

pdfcrack is a command line, password recovery tool for PDF-files.

Masscan is an Internet-scale port scanner, able to scan the entire Internet in just 6 minutes or less. It's considered the fastest port scanner and is similar to the famous port scanner nmap, and like port scanners scanrand and unicornscan it uses asynchronous transmissions. However, it is more flexible when it comes to arbitrary port and address ranges. Masscan not only detects when ports are open, it can also check banners. And while it is useful for smaller, internal networks, it's designed with the entire internet in mind. Do take note however that Masscan uses its own custom TCP/IP stack, so anything other than a simple port scan could cause conflict with the local TCP/IP stack unless certain configurations are done.
