A minimal forward authentication service that provides OAuth/SSO login and authentication for the traefik reverse proxy/load balancer. Traefik prepends the namespace to the name of middleware defined via a Kubernetes resource. This is handled automatically when referencing the middleware from another resource in the same namespace (so the namespace does not need to be prepended when referenced). However, the full name, including the namespace, must be used when referenced from static configuration. -

Once it's time to push your site to production, we recommend using Vercel. In general, serve also provides a neat interface for listing the directory's contents. The quickest way to get started is to just run npx serve in your project's directory. If you prefer, you can also install the package globally using Yarn (you'll need at least Node.js LTS). The core of serve is serve-handler, which can be used as middleware in existing HTTP servers. In order to customize the default behaviour, you can also pass custom routing rules, provide your own methods for interacting with the file system and much more. -

The uuid package generates and inspects UUIDs based on RFC 4122 and DCE 1.1: Authentication and Security Services. This package is based on the github/pborman/uuid package. It differs from these earlier packages in that a UUID is a 16 byte array rather than a byte slice. One loss due to this change is the ability to represent an invalid UUID (vs a NIL UUID). Full go doc style documentation for the package can be viewed online without installing this package by using the GoDoc site. -

JSON web token authentication for Laravel and Lumen
jwt-auth provides a simple means of authentication within Laravel using JSON Web Tokens (spec). There are several ways to create a token within the package. There are simple ways to do it, and more advanced methods if you want greater control. The most common way to create a token would be to authenticate the user via their login credentials, and if successful return a token corresponding to that user. You can also skip user authentication and just pass in a User object. Once a user has logged in with their credentials, then the next step would be to make a subsequent request, with the token, to retrieve the users' details, so you can show them as being logged in. To make authenticated requests via http using the built in methods, you will need to set an authorization header. If you don't like the idea of catching mulitple exceptions inline, then you are free to add a global exception handler with Laravel. -

q - Text as Data
Run SQL directly on CSV or TSV files
q is a command line tool that allows direct execution of SQL-like queries on CSVs/TSVs (and any other tabular text files). q treats ordinary files as database tables, and supports all SQL constructs, such as WHERE, GROUP BY, JOINs etc. It supports automatic column name and column type detection, and provides full support for multiple encodings. q fully supports all types of encoding. Use -e data-encoding to set the input data encoding, -Q query-encoding to set the query encoding, and use -E output-encoding to set the output encoding. Sensible defaults are in place for all three parameters. Files with BOM: Files which contain a BOM (Byte Order Mark) are not properly supported inside python's csv module. q contains a workaround that allows reading UTF8 files which contain a BOM - Use -e utf-8-sig for this. The plan is to separate the BOM handling from the encoding itself, which would allow to support BOMs for all encodings. -

Ueberauth is a two-phase authentication framework that provides a clear API, allowing for many strategies to be created and shared within the community. It is heavily inspired by Omniauth. You could call it a port but it is significantly different in operation, but almost the same concept. Huge hat tip to Intridea. Ueberauth provides only the initial authentication challenge, (initial OAuth flow, collecting the information from a login form, etc). It does not authenticate each request, that's up to your application. You could issue a token or put the result into a session for the needs of your application. Libraries like Guardian can help you with that aspect of authentication. Strategies implement the two phases and then may allow the request to flow through to your downstream plugs. Implementing the request and callback phases is optional depending on the strategies requirements. If a strategy does not redirect, the request will be decorated with Ueberauth information. -

Simple Software-restriction Policy

A software policy makes a powerful addition to Microsoft Windows' malware protection. In particular, it is more effective against ransomware than traditional approaches to security. If you know about the Linux 'execute permission' bit then you'll understand what this is for. The mode of operation is somewhat different in that execute permission is granted to folders and subfolders rather than individual files, but the intention is the same, to stop undesirable or unknown software from launching unless you OK it. Additionally, it is possible to specify that certain executables (typically browsers and email clients) are run with reduced rights. This is a valuable damage-limitation measure against browser plugin vulns, etc. The protection can be turned off without a reboot whilst installing legitimate software, and will automatically reactivate after a specified time -
