Open Source C Package Managers

CMake is an open-source, cross-platform family of tools designed to build, test and package software. CMake is used to control the software compilation process using simple platform and compiler independent configuration files, and generate native makefiles and workspaces that can be used in the compiler environment of your choice. The suite of CMake tools were created by Kitware in response to the need for a powerful, cross-platform build environment for open-source projects such as ITK and VTK. CMake is part of Kitware’s collection of commercially supported open-source platforms for software development and integrates with CDash to provide a comprehensive suite of tools. CDash is the testing server that aggregates, analyzes, and displays the results of software testing processes submitted from clients located around the world.

rpm-ostree is a hybrid image/package system developed by CoreOS that combines the benefits of image-based and package-based systems for managing Linux operating systems. It utilizes OSTree for managing bootable, immutable filesystem trees and integrates with RPM to allow package layering. This approach enables atomic upgrades and rollbacks, ensuring system stability and consistency across deployments. rpm-ostree is particularly suited for scenarios where reliable and reproducible system states are critical, such as in containerized or edge computing environments. ​

MacPorts is an open-source package management system for macOS that simplifies the process of installing, compiling, and managing open-source software. The MacPorts Base is the core infrastructure that provides the command-line tools and framework necessary for managing ports, which are package definitions containing build and installation instructions. MacPorts supports a wide range of software and offers a consistent environment for software installation on macOS systems. ​

This is a rewrite/port of the popular freeware game Cave Story for Sega Mega Drive/Genesis. It should work on any console or emulator. The main story is "finished", only little things and bugfixes remain. A fan port of Cave Story for the Sega Mega Drive.

Package manager for the C programming language. Expects libcurl to be installed and linkable. Basically, the lazy-man's copy/paste promotes smaller C utilities, also serving as a nice way to discover these sort of libraries. From my experience C libraries are scattered all over the web and discovery is relatively poor. The footprint of these libraries is usually quite large and unfocused. The goal of clibs is to provide stand-alone "micro" C libraries for developers to quickly install without coupling to large frameworks. You should use clib(1) to fetch these files for you and check them into your repository, the end-user and contributors should not require having clib(1) installed. This allows clib(1) to fit into any new or existing C workflow without friction.
