Open Source BASIC Library Management Software

The given library will allow to develop programs with inherent ease in free and pleasant programming language Freebasic. Working with this library, you can always use both the built in functions of language, and API Windows functions or other foreign libraries. At the moment in library already more than 600 functions, very much reminding functions of language PureBasic. The purpose of this project is to create and update a beginners guide to FreeBASIC. Over the years I have noticed that there was only three real ways to learn FreeBASIC. The FreeBASIC Documentation, the FreeBASIC Community Forum, and A old beginners guide written by Richard D. Clark and Ebben Feagan. Each of these sources are great, but they all assume some experience with a programming language. This Project is taking Richard D. Clark's and Ebben Feagan's "A Beginner's Guide to FreeBasic" and is editing, updating, reorganizing, and simplifying this guide. Mr. Clark and Mr. Feagan generously open sourced there guide so I could start this project. Without being able to stand on their shoulders I could not have even started this project. Maktabah Al-Miftah is a Linux digital book reader for Shamela eBook (.bok), Thwab eBook (.th) and its own eBook (.mfth). Version 3.3 is not compatible with Ubuntu 15.10 and up. Version 3.4 runs on Lubuntu 17.04. Now, Version 3.5 runs on Lubuntu 24.04. Its installation is on the Maktabah Al-Miftah Web Site. This program allows to draw diagrams with chart library, that can be used with dialog applications, based on the RC files designers (such as FbEdit for example). This is the one of the fastest way to create window application with visual design methods, and implement into it an ellegant and flexible chart, that can be choosen from four different diagram kinds (if you edit code and use it in your projects). The source code chart library by Lothar Schirm is based on the consolidated solutions from FireFly Designer by Paul Squires. FB Chart Designer shows the complete example of connection those mentioned solutions to achieve thiny file and less code project. It makes more simply to analyze code and provides faster implementation of rebuilted chart library. Chart drawing method is based on "windows.bi" FreeBasic library (Windows API framework).
