libjpeg-turbo
SIMD-accelerated libjpeg-compatible JPEG codec library
libjpeg-turbo is a JPEG image codec that uses SIMD instructions (MMX, SSE2, NEON, AltiVec) to accelerate baseline JPEG compression and decompression on x86, x86-64, ARM, and PowerPC systems. On such systems, libjpeg-turbo is generally 2-6x as fast as libjpeg, all else being equal. On other types of systems, libjpeg-turbo can still outperform libjpeg by a significant amount, by virtue of its highly-optimized Huffman coding routines. In many cases, the performance of libjpeg-turbo rivals that of proprietary high-speed JPEG codecs. libjpeg-turbo implements both the traditional libjpeg API as well as the less powerful but more straightforward TurboJPEG API. libjpeg-turbo also features colorspace extensions that allow it to compress from/decompress to 32-bit and big-endian pixel buffers (RGBX, XBGR, etc.), as well as a full-featured Java interface.">

Open Source H.264 Codec
Cisco has taken their H.264 implementation and open-sourced it under BSD license terms. Development and maintenance will be overseen by a board from the industry and the open-source community. Furthermore, we have provided a binary form suitable for inclusion in applications across a number of different operating systems and made this binary module available for download from the Internet. We will not pass on our MPEG-LA licensing costs for this module, and based on the current licensing environment, this will effectively make H.264 free for use on supported platforms. OpenH264 is a codec library which supports H.264 encoding and decoding. It is suitable for use in real-time applications such as WebRTC. Constrained Baseline Profile up to Level 5.2 (Max frame size is 36864 macro-blocks). Arbitrary resolution, not constrained to multiples of 16x16. Rate control with adaptive quantization, or constant quantization. -

FreeRDP is a free implementation of the Remote Desktop Protocol (RDP), released under the Apache license. The nightly builds are installed into /opt/freerdp-nightly and can be installed in parallel with the distributions regular freerdp package. Network tracing of RDP can be quite a challenge due to a number of factors such as encryption, compression, and the fact that these protocol features cannot always be disabled or worked around. One of the easiest way of decrypting RDP traffic is to configure the server with a self-signed certificate for which the private key is known, and then use this certificate with a network tracing tool to automatically decrypt the packets. -

libimobiledevice is a cross-platform software library that talks the protocols to interact with iOS devices. Unlike other projects, it does not depend on using any existing proprietary libraries and does not require jailbreaking. Access filesystem of a device, access documents of file sharing apps, retrieve information about a device and modify various settings, backup and restore the device in a native way compatible with iTunes. Manage app icons arrangement on the device, install, remove, list and basically manage apps. Activate a device using official servers, manage contacts, calendars, notes and bookmarks, retrieve and remove crashreports. Retrieve various diagnostics information, establish a debug connection for app debugging, mount filesystem images, forward device notifications, manage device provisioning. Take screenshots from the device screen (requires mounted developer image). Simulate changed geolocation of the device (requires mounted developer image). -
Monitoring, Securing, Optimizing 3rd party scriptsc/side is crawling many sites to get ahead of new attacks. c/side is the only fully autonomous detection tool for assessing 3rd party scripts. We do not rely purely on threat feed intel or easy to circumvent detections. We also use historical context and AI to review the payload and behavior of scripts.

It also allows to Crop and Compress the Image based on Aspect Ratio, Resolution, and Image Size. Almost 90% of the apps that I have developed have an Image upload feature. Along with the image selection, Sometimes I needed a crop feature for my profile image for that I've used uCrop. Most of the time I need to compress the image as the image captured from the camera is more than 5-10 MBs and sometimes we have a requirement to upload images with specific resolution/size, in that case, image compression is the way to go option. To simplify the image pick/capture option I have created the ImagePicker library. I hope it will be useful to all. -

RTAB-Map library and standalone application
RTAB-Map (Real-Time Appearance-Based Mapping) is a RGB-D, Stereo and Lidar Graph-Based SLAM approach based on an incremental appearance-based loop closure detector. The loop closure detector uses a bag-of-words approach to determine how likely a new image comes from a previous location or a new location. When a loop closure hypothesis is accepted, a new constraint is added to the map’s graph, then a graph optimizer minimizes the errors in the map. A memory management approach is used to limit the number of locations used for loop closure detection and graph optimization so that real-time constraints on large-scale environments are always respected. RTAB-Map can be used alone with a handheld Kinect, a stereo camera or a 3D lidar for 6DoF mapping, or on a robot equipped with a laser rangefinder for 3DoF mapping. -

FastClick is a simple, easy-to-use library for eliminating the 300ms delay between a physical tap and the firing of a click event on mobile browsers. The aim is to make your application feel less laggy and more responsive while avoiding any interference with your current logic. FastClick is developed by FT Labs, part of the Financial Times. Note: As of late 2015 most mobile browsers - notably Chrome and Safari - no longer have a 300ms touch delay, so fastclick offers no benefit on newer browsers, and risks introducing bugs into your application. Consider carefully whether you really need to use it. The library has been deployed as part of the FT Web App. FastClick doesn't attach any listeners on desktop browsers. -
