Conscious Artificial Intelligence
It's possible for machines to become self-aware.
This project is a quest for conscious artificial intelligence. A number of prototypes will be developed as the project progresses. This is a simple GUI for the command line tool grep and pdfgrep
This program is a GUI for the command line tool grep and pdfgrep. Pdfgrep search text in multiple PDF files and grep can serach text in multiple text files. You can use regular expressions for the search (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Regular_expression). This GUI and the command line tools work without indexing. The following options are used: -i (ignore case) and -F (fixed strings), -n (Print page number or output lines) and -H (Print the file name for each match) from the command line tool. The -r option will be done by the program itself. Performance: This GUI works well when searching in several hundreds of documents (depends on the speed of your computer and the length of the documents). This Python program/library is designed to handle GD-ROM image (GDI) files. It can be used to list files, extract data, generate sorttxt file, extract bootstrap (IP.BIN) file and more. This project can be used in standalone mode, in interactive mode or as a library in another Python program (check the 'addons' folder to learn how). For your convenience, you can use the gditools.py GUI program supplied in the Files section (optional). To use this project you must install the Python 2.7.x branch release binaries. The Avocado language is compiled and currently allows for the creation of console applications. Work on Avocado and the integrated development environment (IDE) began on February 19, 2025. A unique feature of this language is the ability to write commands in Polish and English, compiling code into .exe format. The language is freely available for commercial and non-commercial projects. The Avocado source code is available under the MIT License on GitHub. Avocado is transpiled to Free Pascal and then compiled by the FPC compiler, making it as fast as C or Rust, but with syntax reminiscent of Python. SPINA
Structure parameter inference approach for endocrine feedback control
SPINA is software for the rapid, reliable and accurate determination of constant structure parameters of endocrine feedback control systems. It is a class of static function tests that require nothing more than steady-state concentrations of hormones or metabolites obtained in vivo. The first version of this cybernetic approach had been developed for the evaluation of the functional status of the thyroid gland, i.e. thyroid's secretory capacity (gain of thyroid, GT or SPINA-GT) and sum activity of peripheral deiodinases (GD or SPINA-GD). A second version has been established for insulin-glucose homeostasis. It delivers the secretory capacity of pancreatic beta cells (SPINA-GBeta), an estimate for the insulin receptor amplification (SPINA-GR) and a static disposition index as a measure for the loop gain of the feedback loop (SPINA-DI). Both implementations of SPINA have been validated in more than 50 clinical studies based on large cohorts.
