This is an open-hardware Infrared Remote Controlled USB keyboard, without keys, implemented using a PIC micro-controller and MikroC. IRK! enables you to use your LEARNING remote control to control any system that you can plug a USB keyboard into (Windows, Linux, Mac). Great for controlling a home theatre system such as MythTV, XBMC or Media Center. No drivers are required. You can program *any* USB keyboard function (with or without Control, Alt, Shift and GUI modifiers) to a button on your infrared remote control and when you press that button IRK! will send the corresponding USB keystroke to the host computer. Uosk (formerly Charmappino) is a virtual keyboard that opens any ASCII, ANSI, UTF-8 and UTF-16 text file and converts words (e.g. separated by spaces) into buttons. Clicking one button the text snippet is pasted into any text editor (Notepad, WordPad, MS Office, OpenOffice...). You can edit snippets directly in Uosk, and save them as a new txt file. The snippet can also be copied to clipboard. It's basically a virtual keyboard with ability to set any amount of characters in one button. Uosk comes with some preset keyboard: Arabic, box drawing, Devanagari, emoji, Greek, Hebrew, Hiragana, IPA, Katakana, Russian and Windows-1252. -
