Dynamically loaded extension libraries for GNU AWK
The gawkextlib project provides several extension libraries for gawk (GNU AWK), as well as libgawkextlib containing some APIs that are useful for building gawk extension libraries. These libraries enable gawk to process XML data, interact with a PostgreSQL database, use the GD graphics library, and perform unlimited precision MPFR calculations. These extensions work with GNU AWK version 4.1.1 or later. We have created a framework for packaging gawk extensions, and we welcome further contributions. Recent additions include haru, redis, and select for I/O multiplexing. -

FlatCC FlatBuffers in C for C
FlatBuffers Compiler and Library in C for C
flatcc has no external dependencies except for build and compiler tools, and the C runtime library. With concurrent Ninja builds, a small client project can build flatcc with libraries, generate schema code, link the project and execute a test case in a few seconds, produce binaries between 15K and 60K, read small buffers in 30ns, build FlatBuffers in about 600ns, and with a larger executable also handle optional json parsing or printing in less than 2 us for a 10 field mixed type message. The JSON parser may change the interface for parsing union vectors in a future release which requires code generation to match library versions. This project builds flatcc, a compiler that generates FlatBuffers code for C given a FlatBuffer schema file. This introduction also creates a separate test project with the traditional monster example, here in a C version. The setup script builds flatcc using CMake, then creates a test project directory with the monster example. -

Gumbo
An HTML5 parsing library in pure C99
Gumbo is an implementation of the HTML5 parsing algorithm implemented as a pure C99 library with no outside dependencies. It's designed to serve as a building block for other tools and libraries such as linters, validators, templating languages, and refactoring and analysis tools. Gumbo gains some of this by virtue of being written in C, but it is not an important consideration for the intended use-case, and was not a major design factor. Gumbo is intentionally designed to turn an HTML document into a parse tree, and free that parse tree all at once. To install the python bindings, make sure that the C library is installed first, and then sudo python setup.py install from the root of the distro. This installs a 'gumbo' module; pydoc gumbo should tell you about it. Tested on over 2.5 billion pages from Google's index. Passes all html5lib tests, including the template tag. -

Text File Codepage Converter for the Windows command line
This command line utility is a codepage converter to be used to change the character encoding of text. It fully supports charsets such as ANSI code pages, UTF-8, UTF-16 LE/BE, UTF-32 LE/BE, and EBCDIC. It's designed to convert big text files, too. It runs on Windows XP onwards (tested on XP, Windows 7, Windows 8.1, Windows 10, and Windows 11). The "readme.txt" file and the Wiki gives you some more information. You'll find the compiled tool for 32 bit (x86) and 64 bit (x64) Windows in the "bin" directory. The C source code is available in the "src" directory. Just click on the "Files" tab. An extension providing efficient data structures for PHP 7
An extension providing specialized data structures as efficient alternatives to the PHP array. Highlights the API, performance and other benefits. PHP has one data structure to rule them all. The array is a complex, flexible, master-of-none, hybrid data structure, combining the behaviour of a list and a linked map. But we use it for everything, because PHP is pragmatic: “dealing with things sensibly and realistically in a way that is based on practical rather than theoretical considerations”. An array gets the job done. Unfortunately, with flexibility comes complexity. Collection is the base interface which covers common functionality like foreach, echo, count, print_r, var_dump, serialize, json_encode, and clone. Sequence describes the behavior of values arranged in a single, linear dimension. Some languages refer to this as a List. Documentation is available on php.net. You should also include the polyfill in your project for IDE integration.
