New shape, such as @ # $ % & and new shape of italic style. More ligatures - such as .., ..., /*, /**. Small size, leave only contains latin, table control characters and few symbols. Better rendering effect - redesigned it according to Fira Code Retina's spacing and glyph. Public Sans
A strong, neutral, principles-driven, open source typeface for text
A strong, neutral typeface for interfaces, text, and headings. Public Sans is a fork of the SIL Open Licensed face Libre Franklin. Public Sans has many similarities with its parent, but differs enough in its particulars that its effect is distinct. Adjusted vertical metrics. Public Sans is about 2% shorter than Libre Franklin, and has slightly looser default line spacing. Tailed lowercase l. The lowercase l character has a hooked tail for disambiguation. (There is also an optional untailed l.) Regularized stroke weight. Public Sans provides a more regular letterform from the conventional Franklin shape for a cleaner, more consistent letterform, especially at small sizes. Non-rounded vertices. Conventional angled vertices result in a sharper, stronger form. Narrower characters. Public Sans is narrower, especially in rounded characters like lowercase e to help with reading flow, especially in longer texts. Looser letterspacing. Public Sans has relatively loose letterspacing for reading. -

Work Sans

Work Sans was made in part on the stolen lands of the Wurundjeri and Boon Wurrung people of the Kulin nations. I pay my respect to their elders, past, present and future. Sovereignty has never been ceded. Work Sans has been updated between 2018–2020 with accompanying italics, and variable font files and the character set has been expanded to the Google Latin Expert glyph set, which will now support Vietnamese along with these additional languages. Work Sans is a 9-weight typeface family based loosely on early Grotesques — i.e. Stephenson Blake, Miller & Richard, and Bauerschen Giesserei. The core of the fonts are optimized for on-screen medium-sized text usage (14px-48px) – but still can be used in print well. The fonts at the extreme weights are designed more for display use. Overall, features are simplified and optimized for screen resolutions. -

Read and write OpenType fonts using JavaScript
opentype.js is an OpenType and TrueType font parser and writer. It allows you to access the letterforms of text from the browser or node.js. Once you have the shapes, you can modify them, for example by snapping them to a virtual grid. opentype.js provides you with raw access to the glyphs so you can modify them as you please. Create a bézier path out of a piece of text. Support for composite glyphs (accented letters). Support for WOFF, OTF, TTF (both with TrueType glyf and PostScript cff outlines) Support for kerning (Using GPOS or the kern table). Support for ligatures. Support for TrueType font hinting. Support arabic text rendering (See issue #364 & PR #359 #361) A low memory mode is available as an option (see #329) Runs in the browser and Node.js. -

scientifica
Tall, condensed, bitmap font for geeks
scientifica is largely based on creep, with a number of minor tweaks to improve readability (a matter of taste of course). Most characters are just 4px wide, which is brilliant for low dpi (90-120) displays. Scientifica supports ligatures in Vim and Neovim via the conceal feature. Please read the Ligatures manual for instructions. Replacer es una utilidad para reemplazar texto en ficheros, útil cuando hay que aplicar dicha función a un conjunto de ficheros. Permitiendo el uso de expresiones regulares, hace posibe cualquier operación masiva sobre las líneas de los mismos. Sustituir una cadena de caracteres por otra en un directorio de ficheros voluminosos de manera genérica, es la tarea más fácil que se puede realizar con Replacer. Puede localizar fechas ([\\d]+/[\\d]+/[\\d]+), direcciones web (http://(www\\.)?[a-zA-Z0-9]+\\.[a-zA-Z]+), atributos (title=\".*\", value=\".*\"), internacionalizar una aplicación etc. La complejidad de la operación dependerá de los criterios introducidos, de esta manera las posibilidades no tienen límites. La aplicación soporta la mayoría de las codificaciones. -

Yet another Cyrillic version of Computer Modern fonts
The Cyrillic Modern fonts are based on the Computer Modern fonts designed in METAFONT by D. E. Knuth and released in the Type 1 format by the American Mathematical Society under the SIL Open Font License (OFL). The Cyrillic Modern fonts are intended to make the Cyrillic letters with classical shapes typical to the modern fonts. Currently, the fonts add support for the Russian language, the numero sign and quotation marks required for the Russian typesetting. Several Latin letters are changed making the Cyrillic Modern fonts closer to modern-style fonts, in particular, to Monotype Modern. So, these fonts break metric compatibility with the Computer Modern fonts. For consistency, the modified mathematical italic fonts are provided. retro TTF font mimicing old EGA font
This is a TrueType font (TTF), that is an exact copy of the font used by DOS. I made it using the FontForge software, and the *.CPI fonts bundled with FreeDOS as a model. DOS/EGA is a Unicode-BMP font, therefore it may be used without troubles on modern, multilingual systems. It supports english, french, polish, german, and probably several other languages. Beside its "retro" value, it's a great replacement to the oldish "fixedsys" font. -
