XSCHEM
Schematic circuit editor for VLSI and Mixed mode circuit simulation.
Xschem is a schematic capture program, it allows to create a hierarchical representation of circuits with a top down approach . By focusing on interconnections, hierarchy and properties a complex system (IC) can be described in terms of simpler building blocks. A VHDL, Verilog or Spice netlist can be generated from the drawn schematic, allowing the simulation of the circuit. Key feature of the program is its drawing engine written in C and using directly the Xlib drawing primitives; this gives top speed performance, even on very big circuits. I have succesfully managed to simulate complete VLSI projects with this tool, both digital (Verilog / VHDL) and analog (Spice). Schematics can be printed in SVG, PNG, PDF, formats. XSCHEM runs on Linux or other Unix-likes with Xorg server and on Windows with the Cygwin layer and required tools installed. Can be found also on github: https://github.com/StefanSchippers/xschem -

A tool to draw various charts from textual descriptions. Currently, three types of charts are supported: Message Sequence Charts, generic Graphs, and Block Diagrams, with more to be added in the future. There is a command-line version for Linux and Mac (replacing mscgen), which now sports a GUI, as well. Msc-generator allows fine control over the appearance and has a rich feature set complete with detailed documentation. On Windows, you can embed the charts in a document or presentation and simply double-click it in Office to edit them. On Linux and the Mac, a command-line version is available, and a GUI, as well. A .deb package is available starting from Debian Bookworm (currently testing) and Ubuntu Jammy Jellyfish (22.04) from the official repositories. For older releases see the Wiki. A Mac homebrew package is available.">

This is an integrated set of C++ software tools for manipulating XML (eXtensible Markup Language) schemas and XML instance files. The tools are: •xmlSchemaParser - parses and reformats XML schema files, and prints typederivation hierarchies. Also includes a C++ model of XML schema. •xmlInstanceParserGenerator - generates C++ classes and a YACC/Lex instance file parser from an XML schema – it’s a software tool that writes software tools •orphanFinder - identifies unused types and undefined types in one or a set of XML schema files •xmlSchemaAttributeConverter - rewrites an XML schema file, converting attributes to elements •xmlSchemaXpathChecker - checks that all paths in all constraints in a schema are possible, and reports those that do not exist •xmlSchemaPathFinder - generates all possible paths through an instance tree that contain components specified by the user -

A tool that makes printing multi sided documents an easy task.
Let's say you want to save paper when printing a document. To do so, you can print on both sides of paper sheets or print multiple pages on each side of the sheets, like done in handouts. Most printers and printer dialogues don't offer an easy way to do these two simple tasks, that's where dualPrint comes in. Tell dualPrint basic information about the document's pages and it will generate the outputs to copy into the printer dialogues. dualPrint eliminates the need to manually change between odd and even pages, which can be tricky to find among different programs and printing dialogues. Finally, it guides you in the process of inverting pages so you won't have to waste paper on trial and error. -
