A foundational avionics system for model rockets
If you do a search for model rocket electronic payload, you will see a lot of entries for medium to high power, large diameter rockets. These types of rockets are large, typically 80mm (3.1 inches) in diameter or larger. These rockets are flown in large open areas, often deserts and dry lake beds. These larger rockets also use larger propellants, typically in the High Power Rocketry (HPR) range of “H” and above impulse level. Not only do these motors require you to be certified in HPR, the motors themselves tend to be rather expensive. My goal was to develop a system that could be used by high school students. It would involve proven rocket designs that could be flown on school yards. That meant it needed to be small, fitting everything into a body tube with a diameter no more than 42mm. This would allow it to use “D” or “E” motors. It would need to be flexible. I wanted the design to be a starting point to allow them to conduct real science and it had to be inexpensive. -

30DaysofSwift is a challenge-style collection of Swift exercises and learning tasks meant to be tackled over 30 days (or more flexibly). Each “day” introduces a coding problem, concept, or mini project that builds on previous days: for example, fundamentals on day 1, optionals and control flow, Swift data structures, closures, protocol programming, UI interaction, etc., culminating in more advanced topics or sample apps. Solutions, hints, or sample projects accompany many of the prompts, allowing learners to compare approaches or download runnable code. The challenge format gives structure and pacing, helping learners stay motivated and consistent. Because the repo is public, contributors can add new challenge ideas, alternative solutions, or refinements as Swift evolves. -

The main aim of the project is the cooperation of the participating institutions in the development and testing of applications for mobile devices (mobile phones, tablets, etc..). These applications will be used during maths lessons in lower and upper secondary schools in order to increase the attractiveness and efficiency of teaching difficult parts of school mathematics in Slovakia and Norway. Implementation of applications is carried out by students of Applied Informatics, as a part of their final thesis, based on the specifications of local working groups. Initial implementation will be done in English and for the Android platform, the final version of the application will have Slovak and Norwegian language version and will be edited to the iOS platform. Unity3D platform is used for whole application development.

Please download the above zip file and extract it to a secret folder and run the quiz.sh script from that folder in your terminal program, as shown in the youtube videos : https://youtu.be/kQi0XlIaT9M and https://youtu.be/prwKN5DiFp0 You may change the contents of the quiz.txt file to your liking, while maintaining the format of it. Note: Press Enter/Return key after typing on your Terminal, to proceed to the next step, while testing the quiz.sh script. Also, increase the terminal font size to the desired level, before using the script, to view in bigger mode. Google search for linux / cygwin / mac terminal font size to know more about it. LATEST UPDATE : The quiz.sh script is updated now to perform for the whole class of students and log the results into the Students_Score.txt file.
