This is a database of the Arabic roots and their derivatives in voweled and unvoweled forms along with stems. The database is extracted from the well known Arabic legacy dictionary "تاج العروس من جواهر القاموس".

qtrans is an offline dictionary (word translator written in Qt5/KF5 or Qt5 only or Qt6/KF6). It uses Babylon (*.dic, *.bgl), StarDict (*.dict, *.dict.dz: *.ifo), Dictd and FreeDict (*.dict, *.dict.dz: *.index) as well as plain text (*.dic.txt) dictionaries. The project contains scripts for converting BG Office Dictionary (see http://bgoffice.sourceforge.net/) database into a Kindle book. The dictionary is in the Kindle's native dictionary format and integrates with the Smart Lookup feature. The application Dictionary System (DS) is a web application designed for creation of one-way bilingual dictionaries or encyclopaedias offering a working environment for creation of a dictionary and a web page which enables the general public to search in the dictionary. It is so-called DWS application (Dictionary Writing System) or DPS (Dictionary Production / Publishing System). Aplikace Dictionary System (dále DS) je webová aplikace. Je to tzv. DWS aplikace (Dictionary Writing System) nebo také tvz. DPS (Dictionary Production/Publishing System). Aplikace Dictionary System nabízí pracovní prostředí pro tvorbu jednosměrných dvojjazyčných slovníků nebo encyklopedií a webové stránky, které umožňují vyhledávat ve slovníku široké veřejnosti.

The Japanese to English Dictionary is written in java, and so will require that you have the JRE installed prior to its installation & use. It is a hobbyist project of mine intended to address my admittedly narrow needs, and so will fall short of yours. If you have any suggestions for improvements, please let me know! This open source application would not be possible without the Japanese-English dictionary and kanji files assembled by Jim Breen; it would also have taken a great deal more effort without the BaseX API and the izPack installer. Currently only works for Windows, and is not yet fully tested. If you encounter problems, please report them.

PronunDict for French is both a reverse phonetic dictionary (searching by pronunciation) and a standard one to search by spelling. Pronunciation is transcribed with IPA symbols. "Al-Lamy" our new educational program for conjugating Arabic verbs. It counters the problems observed in the other Arabic conjugation systems by using a dictionary of 8000 verbs and by implementing the grammatical rules of 70 verbal classes that cover their declinations. Al-Lamy displays conjugations and characteristics of Arabic verbs in a user-friendly interface and tests show that it performs in a satisfactory way.

Постоянно показывает на экране английское слово и его перевод, при показе слова может воспроизвести его произношение при наличии аудиофайла. Транскрипцию слова и аудиофайл берет из словаря в dsl формате (протестировано с Longman Pronunciation Dictionary). Написана на Java, платформа безразлична. Поэтому и писалась, т.к. для UNIX like систем такой программы мною было не найдено.
