Nativefier
Make any web page a desktop application
Nativefier is a command-line tool designed to create a desktop app for any web site with minimal configuration. Apps are wrapped by Electron (using Chromium under the hood) in an OS executable (.app, .exe, etc) for use on Windows, macOS and Linux. Nativefier will try to determine the app name, and well as lots of other options. If desired, these options can be overwritten. For example, to override the name, nativefier --name 'My Medium App' 'medium.com' Read the API documentation or run nativefier --help to learn about other command-line flags usable to configure the packaged app. For a list of build commands contributed by the nativefier community take a look at the CATALOG.md file. Nativefier is also usable from Docker. You can pass Nativefier flags, and mount volumes to provide local files. -

jdbc2csv is a small command-line tool written in JAVA and can be used on all platforms, for which JRE 8 or higher is available. To connect to a specific DBMS the tool uses its JDBC driver. The result of the executed 'select' query is displayed in CSV format ( different standards are supported ). When there is an error the tool stops with exit code 1 and the error message is output on stderr. jdbc2csv is created with a main purpose to be used in shell-scripts. Relatively easy to configurate, this tool is suitable for queries ‘select’, ‘update’ and ‘delete’. I think that is not suitable for a large number of requests, like 'insert'.">

Customize and package your Electron app with OS-specific bundles
Electron Packager is a command line tool and Node.js library that bundles Electron-based application source code with a renamed Electron executable and supporting files into folders ready for distribution. For creating distributables like installers and Linux packages, consider using either Electron Forge (which uses Electron Packager internally), or one of the related Electron tools, which utilizes Electron Packager-created folders as a basis. Note that packaged Electron applications can be relatively large. A zipped, minimal Electron application is approximately the same size as the zipped prebuilt binary for a given target platform, target arch, and Electron version (files named electron-v${version}-${platform}-${arch}.zip). Building an Electron app for the Windows target platform requires editing the Electron.exe file. Currently, Electron Packager uses node-rcedit to accomplish this. -

testssl.sh is a free command-line tool that checks a server's service on any port for the support of TLS/SSL ciphers, protocols as well as recent cryptographic flaws and more. testssl.sh is free and open-source software. You can use it under the terms of GPLv2, please review the License before using it. Works for Linux, Mac OSX, FreeBSD, NetBSD and WSL/MSYS2/Cygwin out of the box, no need to install or configure something, no gems, CPAN, pip or the like. OpenBSD only needs bash to be postinstalled. You can test any SSL/TLS enabled and STARTTLS service, not only webservers at port 443. Several command line options help you to run your test and configure your output. If a particular check cannot be performed because of a missing capability on your client side, you'll get a warning. You can look at the code, see what's going on and you can change it. -

Ansible Lint is a command-line tool for linting playbooks, roles and collections aimed towards any Ansible users. Its main goal is to promote proven practices, patterns and behaviors while avoiding common pitfalls that can easily lead to bugs or make code harder to maintain. Ansible lint is also supposed to help users upgrade their code to work with newer versions of Ansible. Due to this reason we recommend using it with the newest version of Ansible, even if the version used in production may be older. As any other linter, it is opinionated. Still, its rules are the result of community contributions and they can always be disabled based individually or by category by each user. ansible-lint checks playbooks for practices and behavior that could potentially be improved. As a community-backed project ansible-lint supports only the last two major versions of Ansible. -

This project was inspired by several battery management solutions, including Apple's own battery health management. The purpose of limiting the battery's maximum charge is to prolong battery health and to prevent damage to the battery. Various sources show that the optimal charge range for the operation of lithium-ion batteries is between 40% and 80%, commonly referred to as the 40-80 rule [1][2][3]. This project is especially helpful to people who leave their Macs on the charger all day, every day. -

Run: grunt or gulp to run the local server at localhost:3000, the grunt/gulp tasks include live reloading for views, css in public/css and restarting the server for changes to app.js or js in routes/. Jujutsu is a Git-compatible DVCS. It combines features from Git (data model, speed), Mercurial (anonymous branching, simple CLI free from "the index", revsets, powerful history-rewriting), and Pijul/Darcs (first-class conflicts), with features not found in most of them (working-copy-as-a-commit, undo functionality, automatic rebase, safe replication via rsync, Dropbox, or distributed file system). The command-line tool is called jj for now because it's easy to type and easy to replace (rare in English). The project is called "Jujutsu" because it matches "jj". Jujutsu has two backends. One of them is a Git backend (the other is a native one 1). This lets you use Jujutsu as an alternative interface to Git. The commits you create will look like regular Git commits. You can always switch back to Git. The Git support uses the libgit2 C library. -

OpenDrop
An open Apple AirDrop implementation written in Python
OpenDrop is a command-line tool that allows sharing files between devices directly over Wi-Fi. Its unique feature is that it is protocol-compatible with Apple AirDrop which allows to share files with Apple devices running iOS and macOS. Currently (and probably also for the foreseeable future), OpenDrop only supports sending to Apple devices that are discoverable by everybody as the default contacts-only mode requires Apple-signed certificates. We support contacts-only devices by using extracted AirDrop credentials (keys and certificates) from macOS via our keychain extractor. OpenDrop is experimental software and is the result of reverse engineering efforts by the Open Wireless Link project. Therefore, it does not support all features of AirDrop or might be incompatible with future AirDrop versions. OpenDrop is not affiliated with or endorsed by Apple Inc. Use this code at your own risk.
