Open Source C# Chess Games

This is an opensource software at University of Szeged. This program can solve a chess problem. First we can put chess pieces on the chessboard, to set a composition. After that, the software will solve the problem.

Chess tools I'd like to use

This little tool might be helpful for chess players. The FIDE Rating Regulations (effective from 1 March 2024) are strictly implemented, therefore its calculation is hundred percent accurate. There is a Windows only version (Windows 7 or higher, .NetFramework 4.7.2 or higher (you don't need to worry about this with a current Windows 10 or 11)) ... and a Java version (Java 17 or higher).

ChessCam allows you to play against the computer on your favorite chessboard without any expensive devices. You only need a webcam, a software using the DGT board, and of course a computer. Any ChessBase software such as Fritz or Shredder should be compatible. Game of the Giants is a two-player board game which is played on a 10x10 grid of cells. Each player has four giants having initial configuration as shown in starting stage. A move consists of two subsequent actions: 1. One moves one of one's own giant one or more empty squares in a straight line (orthogonally), exactly as rook moves in chess, it may not cross or enter a square occupied by a giant or an arrow. 2. After moving, the giant shoots an arrow from its landing square to another square, using another rook-like move. This arrow may travel in any orthogonal direction (even backwards along the same path the giant just traveled, into or across the starting square if desired). An arrow, like a giant, cannot cross or enter a square where another arrow has landed or a giant stands. The square where the arrow lands is marked to show that it can no longer be used. The last player to be able to make a move wins. How to play: 1. Select players from the panel 2. Click start

sasuketiimer(2009.04-) looks like the timer shown at the right upper corner on Sasuke, a Japanese program, inspired me to make this timer when I learn programming. It also contains some simple tools related to time management.

CSBoard is a small GUI for gnuchess. It is written in C# and uses gtk-sharp and mono. It is simple, but allows you just play chess with SVG graphics and native look and desktop theme usage.

ChessAsin is an asynchronous chess server for on-line play following the rules of correspondence chess. ChessAsin is also the name of the chess engine it uses. It is developed in .NET, using WCF, and includes a Windows test client, created with XNA.

Faced with the need to introduce time factor in the chess games with friends, I decided to program a simple clock, to make the games more exciting. I thought it could serve others. Chronos it’s a simple but effective chess timer.
