IT inventory: keep track of devices, networks and cables in a database

Have an independent desktop app for your Linux laptop, to manually keep track of assets in your IT environment, keep inventory of occupied IP addresses, devices, NIC's, networks. Cables that run from one point to another (connected to NIC's in devices) and as such cross certain rooms (or not), unused cables (available or lost?) Keep everything in a MySQL compatible database, so that you have full access to your data in any case. GitinCLI (Gambas interpreted) for cases where no full desktop is available, e.g. over a terminal ssh session (maybe when you need these data the most). Work starts at basic use, hope to change the description once to: Have a NICE desktop program. I am able to: - drag 'n drop device to room, cable plugs to device's NIC - list all free or used ip addresses - pull cables to rooms they run through I want to: - calculate the value of (selection of) devices for insurance of bookkeeping - sum the invested amount in IT devices over time - print reports

    employear

    employear

Employee attendance management with import and reports

Keep track of the attendances of employees. Use this grid per month to fill the daycode for the employees with the efficient data entry 'column fill'. Or use the import function (adapt it to your needs) to interprete data from an existing time tracking app to daycodes. Look for missing data, complete illness-, holidays etc. Compare the sum of the worked time with the todo-working time over the days by looking at the +/- saldo. Transfer the saldo to next month, or subtract the payed overtime. Look at employee/month/year views. Export data to HRM, print reports, give feedback to employees. Linux Desktop Gambas2 (Gambas 3: see Employear3) MySQL/mariadb Use gambas2 compiler/runtime, which is free available in most distro's. Employear source package must be unpacked, then opened in the Gambas IDE, and run or compiled. Can easily be translated in the Gambas IDE-without touching the code. Perfect intermediate for Small Business between employee Time Tracker and HRMdepartment.

GaRLiC=Gambas Raw Lines of Code, a Gambas2 code library for use in SMB

Building blocks, small demo apps, and pieces of sample code for Gambas2. Also see more recent Garlic3 project on https://sourceforge.net/projects/garlic3. All can be used to take a look how things can be done in Gambas, not with the idea to supply a product or a finished program. The sourcecode can easily be run from Gambas2 on Linux. Some small programs that appear here are in real use in a small business, but no warranty is given! SimpleDemo contains more complete apps that can be used to demonstrate a working Gambas program. Database is often needed. SimpleSample is more a small piece of sample code as a reminder how gambas works or how something can be done. Empty project is an example of how you can start with some things in place already; just copy the code to any new project, more templates might appear. Feedback is welcomed of course, bugs might be corrected if you create a ticket in the bug list.
