Geeqie is a lightweight image viewer. It was forked from GQview. The development is focused on features for photo collection maintenance: raw format, Exif/IPTC/XMP metadata and integration with programs like UFraw, ImageMagick, Gimp, gPhoto or ExifTo The current development and project can be found on http://www.geeqie.org/. GeoDress is a program for reverse geocoding of JPEG pictures with a simple GUI and even a command-line interface.

Geotag Merge is designed to combine track data from a GPS unit with EXIF data in a series of photographs. A handheld GPS can be simply carried while taking photos, and the photos can later be automatically gettagged (by matching timestamps).

JGeotagger is a Java / Swing application which uses a GPX file to geotag JPG photos

This is a project to set and read tags from FLAC, AAC,MP3 and soon OGG files (K)eiths (U)niversal (T)ag (E)ditor can auto detect the file type and read/write most common tags and output the results when reading tags into a standard form.

MassGeotagger lets you select a photo, a photo folder or a folder tree and update the latitude and longitude coordinates in the EXIF data of the selected photos. To get the GPS coordinates, the method of choice is to select one or several GPX files and set the difference of time between APN time saved in EXIF data and GPS time. However other strategies to match JPG and GPS coordinates are available : by selecting one of the GPX waypoint, by selecting a point on the map or by user input. MassGeotagger can also be used to view the location of geotagged photos on a map.

The aim of this project is to read meta data from pictures such as JPG. But, instead of other freeware all meta data will be described into Spring files (XML files).

Picasa can tag your pictures with faces and geo coordinates. faces2pictures writes the face and geo tags into the files.

icctext is a simple command line utility that lets you edit the text tags in an ICC profile.

This is a set of command line tools that are useful for editing image metadata. Currently it contains the following tools: * image2xml * xml2image * mpo2jps Currently supported file formats are: * jpeg (jfif or exif) * mpo * jps. These tools are mostly useful for editing metadata. image2xml can also generate a .h header file with the offsets of different metadata in the binary file. This could be used in small devices that generate jpeg/mpo/jps images where metadata construction from scratch is not required.

This Project will make the attempt to cross artificial intelligence Algorythms and common 3D workflow. Usually many operations in 3D workflow are highly retundant and often actions have to be repeaded several times or instead being executed in selfmade scripts.Scripting is in fact for most people a very nasty and time consuming action. This application module tries to fill the gap where it lerns workflows which can in order be modified, multiplied, adapted organically to allow a fast and versatile Workflows, where currently rigit working habits will not Compete. ...also making scripting finally obsolete. currently the developement is started with Autodesk Maya. More 3D platforms will come after this project is succeding.
