James Hype is collaborating with SoundCloud and Hï Ibiza on an exclusive remix contest. In 2025, the celebrated British dance DJ/producer’s star continues to rise. With charting singles like “Don’t Wake Me Up,” his summer-long DJ residency at Hï Ibiza (powered by SoundCloud) and forthcoming headline shows in London and Las Vegas, James Hype’s music is resonating with dance music lovers on both sides of the Atlantic.
Building on the massive success of “Number 1,” his track with Major Lazer, the DJ/producer is offering the opportunity to remix the track, as part of his ongoing Our House residency with MEDUZA, at Ibiza nightclub Hï Ibiza.
The winner of the remix contest, as chosen by James Hype, will receive:
- Flights and a hotel stay in Ibiza
- Billboards in London and New York City
- A studio session with Staar>Player>Studios in San Antonio, Ibiza
- AAA access to Hï Ibiza, with a Meet and Greet with James Hype
“I started out making remixes in my bedroom,” says James Hype. “Now, I’m giving you the chance to do the same. Back when I uploaded weekly remixes to SoundCloud, one blew up and changed everything for me. Now, together with Hï Ibiza and SoundCloud, I’m giving upcoming producers the opportunity to remix my track with Major Lazer, ‘Number 1.’ This could be your moment.”
