Nicola Di Croce is a Venice based, musician, composer, architect and scholar. His main research deals with the relation between territory and sound. The Listening and fieldrecording practices lead together to a new perception of the environment, where the sound language becomes a narrative and design vehicle. Fragments to be re-mixed as the essential tool for the understanding and the redefinition of the surrounding space. He has released various acoustic and electronic records and has scored and contributed music to many short films, art installations and multimedia productions, working for prestigious cultural Institutions such as the Venice Biennale.
