I like the time feel and phrases and motivs and tone... I hear an approach that reminds me of Stan Getz, a mellow quality, - did you ever spend time listening to him?

Bryan - Nice job. I like the melodic statement, the time feel is very good - the clave & LH lock up; could there be some variation in the LH? Maybe add some thirds to the melody at some point. Improv starts out well; I like the change of time (triplets) at 50: running against the dim chord; the repeated note riff at 1:06; the long chords against the last pedal 1:40; 1:48 the impressionistic harmonies at the very end. All well done. Just heard 500 Miles - Nice take on a keyboard classic and an unbelievable epiano improv... one issue I hear is the LH/RH - the LH could be lighter and feels out of sync slightly at times.Nice variety in the different lines.

The melody really sings on the cello, its a great instrument for this moody piece. Nice work.

Thanks for getting the recording done. Next time check the levels. The backing track is too low in the mix, so it is hard to hear the bass which is important for understanding your rootless chord voicings. Good work
