While some producers expect good things to come to them J-Money The Hitman has not been reluctant in furthering his name and The Sound Shop movement. A current Tacoma resident J-Money started out by working with local artists and after producing for a handful quickly weeded out the serious versus the wannabe’s. Vying for more he started to reach out to artists buzzing in other regions eventually landing as a in house producer with one of the west coasts busiest labels...Livewire Records! Home to artists such as J-Stalin, Stevie Joe, and Philthy Rich the label has really gained a fanbase over the last several years. Sort of a culmination of both J-Money releases his first producer project called “Welcome 2 The Sound Shop” which is a compilation featuring primarily Livewire based artists as well as a few local artists like Swag, Tak Patron, Lok Skywalker, Juga Hill, Strik & Krusal, Sunny Red, Big Sin, Reccless, Big Dre, and many more.
