Joan Queralt & The Seasicks’s avatar

Joan Queralt is an artist that combines several musical styles ranging from folk music with a bluesy edge mixed with hints of rock. After launching his solo career with “I Miss the Waves” (RHRN, 2013) and “Welcome Home” (RHRN, 2015) he decided to join up with The Seasicks and record their first EP together “Time Made of Sand” (La Cúpula Music, 2017). Their next album launch is planned for Spring 2018. Joan Queralts´ musical essence is the care and detail he applies to every single composition and the ability to create unbelievable sounds with his guitar, almost creating a secondary voice to share the musical emotion. He is often compared to the styles and sounds of Jeff Buckley, Ben Howard or Elliott Smith. He has also had the amazing opportunity to play in some of the most famous venues in our country such as Sala Apolo, Razzmatazz, El Gran Teatre del Liceu, Moby Dick or performing in music festivals like El Grec, Festival Gigante, ERA Festival, Petit Camaleons, Músiques Sensibles or Festival dels Jardins de Pedralbes. He has also been supporting act for charting national bands such as Iseo and Smile as well as for international artists Noah Gundersen, Ludovico Einaudi to name a few.
