As a 70’s baby growing up listening to music of the three most influential decades, the 70s, 80s, and 90s I am an honest musical hybrid of Soul, Jazz, and Contemporary gospel. I love and have been inspired by the music of Earth, Wind & Fire, Ella Fitzgerald, The Winans, The Clark Sisters, Take 6, Anita Baker, Jill Scott, Stevie Wonder and others. I am a formally trained musician of Classical Music (Kentucky State University)and Jazz (Western Michigan University) with grassroots of harmonizing with my momma on her hip at the age of 2!
