Some people understand the progressive surge which entwines deep fused electro with your pulse. The levels of the beat are so complex they appear calm and well paced. Andy Watson has been on the scene for two decades and whilst so many have come and gone it is Mr Watson which has only just landed. And boy are we ready for him. Epic and understated vibes wash over the mix with a hideously profound and textured echo of an era gone by which he is enchanting and reigniting. As the vocal drops I see a mirage of an early hours scene from back in 2005 when we were lost in the catacombs of the custard factory / me driving all the famalam back home after a whirlwind rave, poised for a Monday morning of shades on the bus and strong coffees in the 9-5.
