This journey is not a straight line. It's a wave. Butaca (aka Paul Frett) is one of the founders of Dance Church Minneapolis and the Minnesota Dancers Collective. Inspired by Gabrielle Roth and the 5 Rhythms, he sees music as a journey of emotions; of stillness and chaos; of love and loss. Butaca believes good set should tell a story, invoke a heart-felt response, and, of course, make you move your ass. Faux Paul is Butaca’s alter ego. Newer to the scene, still finding his way, he Combines funky house, bass house and beats from around the world for one purpose — to get everyone to dance. Faux can be found in parks and on stages around the Midwest. His journey is just beginning. Watch out!
