It’s a well-known fact that Jos, the Tin city is speedily becoming the bedrock of music especially Hip-hop. The Music industry in Nigeria today flourishes with a lot of artist with the Jos Background. Born in the 80’s Blunt 3:16, Real name Tok Samson Morgan hails from Riyom LGA of Plateau State, he discovered his interest in Music in 1993 listening to artist like, KRS one, Jayz, Wutang Clan, Bob Marley, Terror Fabulous ,Buju Banton, Mutabaruka, Immortal Technique and lots more. His Uncle Raga P is also said to have influence him with a bit of Reggae and even taught him to speak the Jamaican Patios. Blunt 3:16 who sees his style of music as a voice of the street or better said a revolutionary movement had his first Single Title ‘’Players Mind’’ featuring Silly, Ugly and H-man in 2007, produced by Jokaynie for Point Beat Records, Lagos. Since the he has worked with other artist like Afroexcobazz, Pizzo,Daps, Cryptic tha Lyrical pontiff, De Sams, Dj Steeno, Venomous Lips a.k.a Bootleg and more is still coming from him.
