Biography of BabyBoy Brandon Manto aka Baby Boy was discovered while performing with a church choir at the Durban ICC. Soon at the tender age of twelve - his angelic voice caught the eye of world-renowned Ladysmith Black Mambazo leader Joseph Shabalala. Shabalala took him under his wing as they toured internationally. During that time he featured at Queen Elizabeth's Millennium Bash in England performing with the likes of Toni Braxton, Spice Girls and Kirk Franklin. Baby Boy’s first single “My People” debuted at number 9 on East Coast Radio. Baby Boy’s big support came from club DJ’s around South Africa. In 2005, Baby Boy he unleashed the biggest RnB / Pop album. His first single “Friday” was a club thumper and charted on all South African Radio Station. On CD Baby Boy worked with produces like Sipho “Homes” Dlamini, Paul Stainbank and Ernie Smith Babyboy performed all around South Africa and parts of the world, he has opened for international acts such as the likes of Mariah Carey, Tamia, Ludacris, Kelly Rowland and Da Brat. During his successful career Babyboy had a lot of major features on media such as radio, TV, papers and magazines. Due to personal issues he was out of the industry for few years and he’s now re-invented himself, his music and his style. Babyboy has comeback with his self explanatory single “Fight Back” set to be a number one hit on radio
