Tokyo Project is the alias of 25-year-old Italian producer and songwriter, Giulio Tosi. He began his musical journey in 2017 producing various electronic tracks for various projects and artists, until a few years ago when he decided to change his musical direction. Now, the Rome-based artist leans sonically toward an alternative-pop sound. His debut in this new direction was marked by the release of “My Perfection” on CloudKid, a track that, since its release, has garnered over 5 million streams on Spotify, making a significant impact on his fanbase. His next single on the label, “Parasite” also reaped considerable success, further establishing his presence in the contemporary, alt-pop space. Following his latest release, “God Only Knows,” Tokyo Project has focused on expanding his artistic vision, setting his next cycle of songs in a dystopian world.
