@luke-kowald: Yeah, you missed the point. A lot of people did, so don't feel bad. I didn't leave Soundcloud because I felt I could make money elsewhere. I left because Soundcloud was attempting to coerce all channel owners into monetizing their listeners. I decided not to do that. Youtube has its own issues, but they've always been consistent in their direction and they allow the channel owner to easily demonetize or monetize as they see fit. A lot more freedom there.
