James is from Ponce, Puerto Rico, but raised in different states and counties. His father was in the Navy, so he moved around every two to three years. James found his passion for music while living in Italy. Where he learned how to DJ at party. Soon after he started writing lyrics and rapping with friend that was also into music. In 2004, James produced a album with local artist called Collab. Which then lead to doing shows at concert and clubs. After so many years James is now following his dreams, and began his studies at First Institute. James Anthony Almodovar is a student at First Institute studying the Recording Arts Studio Production Course. Where he has learned to use the two different digital audio workstation and gaining the knowledge of becoming an engineer and audio technician in the entertainment field. James has worked on repeatably with Pro tools and Logic Pro X. He has been able to edit, route, and compose audio through both DAWs at an intermediate level.James has been able to share his knowledge to other classmates, to help them accomplish their tasks.
