Its Dezember 2023. Three fearless musketeers – Gincel, Döring & Klein – have just barely survived the housewarming party for their brand-new Berlin loft studio, Studio Flotte. After a respectful amount of beer and some casual knob-twisting, one thing became clear: The world wasn’t quite ready – but the hard drive was.
What emerged are two deep, soulful time capsules, proving that the love for the Rhodes is eternal and that the dream of making it in music is still very much alive.
"Sunday Rhodes" takes you on a jazzy, playful journey, echoing the golden era of Broken Beat and Nu Jazz – a tribute to the roots and experiences gathered back in the 2000s. "All Those Years", on the other hand, features a not-so-unknown percussion loop causing mischief, wrapped in hypnotic arpeggios and those unmistakable Rhodes harmonies.
