"This is not Romeo. He is some other where."
Where does the line of a person and their character blur? Could you love someone backstage the same as you do on the stage?
Jinx, the loveless Romeo, basks in all the attention she can get, especially that of the reliant Juliet, Avery. But, perhaps this love turned obsession makes the spotlight burn too bright.

The story was very good! Jinx and Andrey are nearly identical with their stories of love. This game also had funny dialogue and the story was engaging! Although you said this was your first game jam, you did a good job creating the game along with the help of your friend! I also thank you for doing my art!
This was quite nice! The aesthetic is lovely and consistent across every part of the production, and the story is solid. I had a good time!
I really loved this one! I think the way you use Shakespeare, theatre and R&J to tie into the broader thematics works really nicely. I really liked the characters and I thought the art was great as well, some really solid CG's. I would love to see you come back to Jinx and Avery in some form or the other.
I enjoyed this one a lot! The art was so cool and the CGs were so effective! Jinx is an ass but in a way that's really compelling and enjoyable, and Avery has a surprising flaw for someone who seems so sweet. Despite this whole jam theme being "toxic yuri" in the end I kinda wanted to see it work out anyway... But the ending was a pretty inevitable conclusion, I think! Edit: I forgot to add that I loved how the Shakespeare was interwoven with the actual story and made those moments feel more meaningful, and not just as theater set dressing!
I enjoyed reading the author's notes and backstage art. I too reused characters I've had for years in my jam entry and it's a little scary to think this is the first way they are presented to the world. But nothing stops you from making more and more! And I think Jinx and Avery deserve that. Also good job on the music even though you felt amateur about it! I really liked it!
I absolutely adore this! Your art and writing style are both gorgeous and complement each other so, so well here. Jinx is utterly dynamic and I loved reading about her. The call backs to "he is some other where..." ugh, so good!
I also really enjoyed reading your notes and seeing the development of the cgs!
"Sure, we're on stage a lot, but here we can let the act drop" is SO good as a line considering the entirety of Jinx's first section hahaha. I looooooove Avery's creepy ass.
As a certified Shakespeare-head I am always psyched to read stuff like this. I loved the character/actor distinction and seeing that play out in Jinx's romantic style was uniquely fun. I also enjoyed her poses and the CG art.
This was excellent. I loved how self absorbed Jinx is and how she measures the literal passage of time based on her relevance to the line numbers lol. I did not expect the story to turn out that way, learning more about Avery was really fun and it changed the whole dynamic of the story in a great way.
The art and presentation on display is so perfect for a theater setting, the double-outline on the character makes them stand out even more from the background like I imagine actual actors would.
I also really appreciated hearing all of your thoughts at the end, I completely understand the struggle of bringing something that’s perfect in your mind and pulling it through that threshold into reality and being forced to reckon with the differences. I think your outlook on it is really good though, there really is no reason you can’t return to these characters or this story, I wish that was normalized more than it is.
this vn's presentation is so good! the art is so cohesive and fantastic, i love that you have a little behind the scenes section at the end. the toxic moments where the "mask slips" so-to-speak, are well done! i was caught off-guard in the best of ways~ i hope you keep making vns :) !!
Despite this being toxic for a toxic yuri jam, I really enjoyed the characters before Avery started getting really stalker like which caught me off guard because I went into games in the jam with the mindset that this will get messed up in some way
Even by the end, I very much enjoyed everything about it, it was a real treat to the brain and senses. Jinx ended up being...... weirdly relatable, not wanting anyone to see that side without the mask on.
I'll 100% put this in the set of VNs I unexpectedly found in a random set and will probably never get out of my head
In short: 5/5 this is amazing
That was a really fun game, beautiful expressive art, and i loved how the characters were written, with both of them having their own flavor of toxicity (Jinx was great but Avery spoke to me personally with how quickly she got overly attached to Jinx).
fun backstage corner too, i like the (lol) behind the scenes stuff like this a lot.
