New York Times bestselling author, Caris Roane and Valerie King are the one of the pen names used by Valerie Bosna. Roane is known for writing paranormal romance novels, whilst King wrote regency romance.
Valerie‘s love of books was inspired by her parents, who enjoyed reading. She began her writing career in the late 1980’s, publishing over 50 regency novels. A lifelong interest in vampires and figures from Greek mythology inspired her to create her own unique twist within the paranomal genre.
As King, Valerie has received a Career Achievement Award (2005) in the Regency Romance catergory from Romantic Times Magazine.
