Help Cops Catch Hotel Bandits

A crowd of residents came to P.S. 1 in Long Island City last Wednesday

Two men are wanted by police for allegedly holding up a hotel in South Ozone Park earlier this month and two other lodges in Jamaica and South Jamaica previously. In each incident, NYPD sources said, the perpetrators displayed a firearm and swiped undetermined amounts of cash from the clerk. Law enforcement sources said the duo robbed the LaQuinta Inn at 111-26 Van Wyck Expwy. in South Ozone Park at 1:30 a.m. last Tuesday, Feb. 5. Authorities stated that the suspects also robbed a Howard Johnson Motor Inn at 153-95 Rockaway Blvd. in South Jamaica at 6:30 p.m. last Monday, Feb. 4; and a Quality Inn at 138-68 94th Ave. in Jamaica at 1:10 p.m. on Dec. 29, 2012. The perpetrators were last observed fleeing each caper inside a silver Audi.
