Taming a hamster is a process which takes time as you need to build trust and give them time to settle. A good way to gain trust is using treats such as our Harvest loops which are great for hand feeding and bonding, helping your Hamster to relax around you and your hands.

Being a new hamster owner can be daunting and feel like there’s so much to know, so we've put together this video to help you in the right direction. Having a clean, appropriately sized, fun-filled enclosure is the best place to start 😄 A busy hamster is a happy hamster, so make sure to have plenty of toys, chews and boredom breakers to keep them fulfilled 🐹​

Hamsters can eat a range of different vegetables as part of their daily diet, Veggies can be a great nutritional complement as long as you use them as treats, just a small piece every day or every other day. Please note: When introducing a new vegetable, offer only a tiny amount and wait 24 hours to make sure they do not develop an upset belly 🐹

Before purchasing hamster toys for your small pet, it’s important to make sure they are hamster safe. We would advise to be especially careful about wheels, as the wrong hamster wheel can really damage your hamsters health, it must be more than 30cm and not be made of wire or bars.
