worked great for years without an account. it was very user friendly by allowing me to just swipe up to read the next article. got a new phone and suddenly it needs an account, is missing major portions of the app, you cant swipe up at all any more. there is no combined "for you" feed that i can just read. the setting options which might fix this issues are just flat missing. I contacted support asking about this and have gotten no response in over a week.

I've been using the app for several years now and things have been great. Now it's flooded with intrusive Candy Crush ads that play in the background when you close them out. Also if you report an ad expect to see it even more than before. I know the developers aren't going to fix it, sooo ya get a 2 from me.

Hi, the pop-ups are out of our control since you are on the sources site but you can use the in-app reader mode feature to hide them. Just tap the paper icon on top of the article. Contact us at flip.it/help for further assistance.

Been using Flipboard for years and it definitely used to be my go to app for news, feeds etc. In recent years something changed and whatever algorithm they use now has ruined what used to be a good experience. Yes I know it's supposed to build the feed based on interests; I live in Aus and yet my feed is jammed to the brim with UK football, Canadian road user complaints and anime news updates, none of which I've ever looked up. "Show less like this" and muting outlets makes zero difference.
