Cute idea, still growing my pets out. I wanted to review to give feedback on the ads. I understand they are necessary, however, when I get two choices between playing an ad for double rewards and not playing an ad, and I choose not to, and then YOU STILL PLAY AN AD, it makes no sense and all it accomplishes is me closing the app in frustration and wanting to leave a bad review. I'm holding on to seeing more gameplay in detail and seeing this ad design choice changed. I would change my rating.

Charming creatures, furnishings, and graphics. Fun mini games. Good motivation to walk more. Some of the ads are not appropriate for kids. A lot of kids will be using Stepets, so the devs ought to be mindful of which kinds of ads are shown in the free version. Not everyone has a decent income to pay for luxuries like this app.

This game works! About a year ago I downloaded a few step-oriented games. They all fell off one by one but this one. The mini games are fun and my young kids like to name and play with the pets. I will say, however, that it has a few downsides. It doesn't link with my Samsung watch so it counts about 60 percent of my steps. After about 7 months, I paid for the ad free version because it started feeling too ad-based to progress. BUT! I liked it enough to buy it and that says A LOT.
