The game is okay, but there are always bugs, so it gets frustrating. Sometimes the game will crash just after I catch a pokemon, or I can't open the screen to play with my buddy, or the buddy just can't be placed, or the little photo sticker menu gets stuck on the screen even after I exit. I've had these same problems for years and always end up deleting the app and redownloading a year or two later.

Update: My pokemon eventually returned from the gym after a couple of weeks however I did see in one of the gyms 2 pokemons that stayed there for over 95 days, this is unacceptable. Another thing is that on android phones you can't redeem codes in the app and have to go in a website unlike iPhone users who can redeem it in app in the poke store. This is a decent game however I'd like these problems to be evaluated. Please fix this Niantic.

I have been playing this game since it originally launched and I really enjoy some of the changes that have been made over the years. One biggest complaint now is that the play with your pokemon feature has always been difficult to work with, and that's hasn't improved. It tells you to look for an open flat surface but then never gives me to foot steps to place a pokemon making leveling friendship and gathering gifts very difficult.
