Despite being a bit confusing to navigate and not really modern-looking, AnkiDroid is an INCREDIBLY good tool for writing and memorising flashcards. You get straight to the point, you see your statistics and how long you studied and it's easy to create flashcards and decks (there's also no ads or subscription, unlike some (Quizlet) other study apps). The only negatives are that you can't really study flashcards that the system thinks you've mastered, and some settings are really confusing.

I can't imagine learning a new language without this app. You can create cards based on books you read, words you meet in real life, words from study sessions. You customize the translation as you wish. From the desctop version it is possible to add voice from several sources. The amount of further adjustments is enormous, so literally, you can create decks that are perfect for you. Then synchronize, and use your perfect decks in the app 😀

genuinely love anki 🫶🏾 makes my academic life so much easier because learning almost feels kinda effortless, like others might've said before. making cards takes a bit of time unless you buy a deck, but from there, all you have to do is be consistent in your review. there are so many ways to make cards and customize anki to suit your needs too! and it's free (thank y'all so much)!!
