Bought two Go 4s. One connected fine. The other one won't connect. The normal Bluetooth pairing process doesn't work. I keep getting a popup on the lower half of my screen asking me to connect. It takes over a minute to connect, but then it's still not connected. It prompts me to download this app, which also can't find the speaker. The speaker is useless. Update: I deleted the first speaker hoping it would help, and now I can't connect to that one. So now both speakers are useless.

Unnecessary extra app added. Gifted this speaker & suddenly 10 months later it won't connect to my phone without an app downloaded and sucking my data. IT DIDNT NEED AN APP. Honestly, if I could throw the speaker at the app developers who decided to turn off my speakers ability to pair to my phone today, I would. This is THE WORST decision they could've made. If I could give this completely unnecessary app zero stars I would. ETA- Now the app won't pair the speaker until it gets an update.

The app is useless. It couldn't find my JBL Go 4 even though it was connected to my Bluetooth with the music playing. I gave the app permission to discover nearby devices and everything that's needed. Went through the steps of disconnecting, unpairing, forgetting the device, and then reconnecting, but still nothing. I expected more from such a well-known brand to be able to connect with their own devices through a Samsung S23 phone. No reason at all not to work properly. I'm tech-savvy, too.
