The fall off in recent years is absolutely crazy. Expect to always wait about half an hour longer than the longest estimate (which is already usually 1h), cold food as drivers do multiple stops on the way to you, and never ending fees - or pay the absolutely insane price of £25 a month to get the level of service you used to get for free. Have not had a good experience once in the last year so I'm going to stop trying.

I uninstalled the app and order from my phone's browser, it is way better. The app tries to manage your phone calls. It does not always works, and when it does, you have to dismiss two adds and a "give us your location" prompt to be able to pick up. Speaking of location, every time you open the app, and every three seconds when your rider is on the way, they want you to give them access to your location despite already having the delivery address. It is quite frustrating to see them so insisting

It's a good service in theory, and in practice when it goes smoothly. But I've had too many issues over the past year or so from very late delivery to cold food and wrong orders. It gets quite irritating, when you use this service because you're hungry and it's easy, that your food doesn't turn up for an hour and a half. Customer service are helpful but they won't reimburse or offer any credit for the inconvenience - even if as in my case the food arrived so late I didn't want to eat any more.
