The whole esthetic is ruined for me honestly, I loved the purple color! 🥺 Now it's pistache! Can we customize the colors pls??? In terms of functionality yes it's great.. well apart from some songs I can't find, but still working as expected. I love that the playlists by default show MY Playlists then the followed ones. I needed to scroll every time before.

I’ve been using Anghami for a while now, and I’m really disappointed. First, the music keeps freezing or buffering all the time, which makes it super frustrating to listen. On top of that, there’s a serious lack of variety – everything seems to be focused on Arabic music. I was hoping to find more international genres, but there’s barely anything outside of that. Not worth the subscription in my opinion.

(Edited from 5 stars to 2) It was the only music app I was using for the last few years. But recently I am not able to listen to international music on it. All my liked playlist of international music is gone. If i search for a song, it would say it's not available in my country, when it's been available before. I even tried the paid subscription to see if it fixes the issue but it didn't. Too bad, it was a great app, now I switched to Spotify

We gave the app a whole new look. Brighter in light mode, smoother in dark mode.
Your homepage filters are now easier to swipe through, so you can quickly set your vibe. Podcasts are there too, so you can jump right into your favorites.
The player at the bottom feels lighter. It floats now, always handy but never in your way. "Abboud, our mobile engineer, called it levitating, then went back to fixing bugs."
Playlists look sharper and more on-brand.
