A while ago I had a flash of inspiration for a pun in Latin about Dungeons & Dragons. So naturally, I wrote an epigram about it. I thought the Latinists here might appreciate it. I’ve also added an English translation.
It's a thing I've seen in some places. The long vowels get the (¯) accent, but in other places (like LLPSI or the Duolingo course), there are none. Where are those accents used?
Can I use the Latin Wikitionary as my dictionary? I'm asking this because I've seem some people say that the Latin Wikipedia has some "lack of polish" in their writing, if you understand what I mean.
Sorry that i haven't been posting much, everyone; life hit me right after i created this community, and now i'm just keeping it alive till someone helps roll the ball with me.
This is pretty easy for many people, but i don't got much ideas for today, and they're pretty good things to know for some users to know. A lot of people in this community are beginners.
