Abstract

A lighting appliance 100 includes a battery powered portable lighting device 102 with at least one light source 108, a body with a first region, and a user interface 114 with a second region. The user interface is rotatably affixed to the body. The user interface 114 is configured to rotate with respect to the body between a first position in which the first and second regions align to form an extended region and at least one other position in which the first and second regions do not align.
