Abstract

An apparatus and method for obtaining samples from bioreactors including a manifold assembly (22) comprising a manifold body (28) defining a fluid flow path and a primary valve (36) disposed within the body (28) for controlling fluid flow. A secondary valve (24) is contained within a secondary housing that communicates with the manifold assembly (22) for controlling fluid flow into individual sampling vessels (26).
