Abstract
Description
Spielkarte Playing card
Die Erfindung betrifft eine Spielkarte. The invention relates to a playing card.
The usual playing cards have a face and a neutral back on a sheet of thin cardboard. The view page shows the card value, e.g. Queen, King, Jack, Ace or Number, and a card color. The card color, e.g. Ace of clubs, spades, hearts or diamonds indicates which cards belong to a series. The playing cards mentioned usually belong to a set of playing cards in which each playing card is present only once.
With such playing cards it is possible, depending on the sorting of the card set or the combination of several card sets, to carry out a large number of different card games. Such card games include the games Skat, Doppelkopf, Rummy, Canasta, Bridge or Black Jack. Depending on the card game, the player must handle a large number of cards in these games. As a result, players are often more concerned with the handling of the cards than with the actual game have to concentrate. In addition, the known playing cards have the disadvantage that they wear heavily or stick together as a result of use, which has a disadvantageous effect on the handling of the playing cards.
Dominoes are also known as tokens which allow them to be set up. However, dominoes have the disadvantage of only allowing one type of game, namely dominoes.
The object of the invention is to provide playing cards with which several different card games can be carried out with simple handling.
Die Lösung dieser Aufgabe erfolgt erfindungsgemäß mit den Merkmalen des Patentanspruchs 1.This object is achieved according to the invention with the features of patent claim 1.
The playing card according to the invention has a rigid plate with a thickness of at least 2 mm, preferably at least 3 mm and in particular 4 or 5 mm. This minimum strength ensures that the playing cards are spatial, cuboid structures. The playing cards have narrow sides which connect the view side and the neutral back and which allow the playing card to be set up standing on one of the narrow sides, possibly on a supporting wall. It is therefore not necessary to hold all the playing cards in one hand, so that the player can concentrate more on the playing of cards than on the handling of the cards. The flat narrow sides also allow better handling of the playing cards when they are lifted off, since they can be gripped from the edge and do not, as in the prior art, require the front and rear sides to be jammed. The playing cards according to the invention further facilitate shuffling. The playing cards to be used in a card game can be placed face down on a table and shuffled by sliding them. Since the individual playing cards slide against one another with their narrow sides, thorough mixing can be achieved without individual playing cards erecting each other. The rigid design of the sheet also prevents wear on the playing card.
Since the playing cards according to the invention show the card value and the card color with pictures, numerical values and the known colors of clubs, spades, hearts and diamonds, all known games such as skat, double head, rummy, canasta, bridge or black jack can also can be played with the playing cards according to the invention.
One of the narrow sides is preferably a flat contact surface. Such a footprint allows the playing cards to be set up freely. These can then be set up clearly in front of the respective player without a supporting wall, without other players being able to see the cards.
If the plate has a density of about 0.5 to 2 g / cm 3 , it is ensured that draft placed or deposited cards do not mix. This is especially especially when the density is 1.0 to 2.0 g / cm 3 .
If the plate on its view side has a relief indicating the card color and the card value, it is possible to determine the card value and the card color by palpation. A relief also shows the card color and the card value even if an imprint showing the card color and the card value is rubbed off by use. Furthermore, a relief is visually appealing.
Further advantageous refinements and developments of the invention result from the subclaims and from the drawing in connection with the description.

The playing card 10 shown in FIG. 1 has a sheet of a plastic plate 12, one side of which is designed as a view side 14 and the other side of which is designed as a neutral back 16. The view side 14 and the rear side 16 are connected by narrow sides 18 to those who allow free placement of the playing card 10 as standing areas. The plate 12 consists of a solid plastic material and has on its view side 14 a relief which shows the card value and card color. The relief consists of first recesses 20, which indicate that the playing card is a "seven" card, and a second recess 22, which indicates that the card color is "cross". As an alternative to the relief, a print or a multi-colored adhesive coating can be provided, which shows the card value and card color. The back 16 of the playing card 10 has a roughening 24, which enables the playing card 10 to be gripped easily. All edges of the playing card are chamfered or rounded.
Good handling results when the thickness D of the plate is at least 5% of the larger value of the width B or the length L of the plate. In the embodiment shown the length L is 5.4 cm, the width B is 3.5 cm and the thickness D of the plate 12 is approximately 0.5 cm 9% of the length L.
