Abstract

The present invention provides a polynucleotide fragment encoding feline η-interferon, a recombinant vector comprising such a polynucleotide fragment, a host cell containing said polynucleotide fragment or recombinant vector, a recombinant feline η-interferon polypeptide, and pharmaceutical compositions comprising recombinant η-interferon for use as a prophylactic and/or therapeutic agent and also as an adjuvant.
