This invention relates to a toiletand tissue-paper package. v
a In hotels, sleeping cars, and other transient service, there is need for a small, compact, and inexpensive package of toiletor tissuepaper which will also serve as a means of dispensing the paper. In and by the present invention I have provided such a package which is capable of retaining a stack of interleaved sheets in compact form at all times, while permitting individual sheets to be readily andeasily Withdrawn. The part of the package constituting the holder is of such simple and inexpensive construction that it may without undue waste be discarded after the sheets are used up.

In forming the present package I make use of a stack of interleaved sheets 10, folded and interleaved as indicated diagrammatically in Fig. 2. The stack containing a suitable number of sheets is folded longitudinally into the form shown in Fig. 3, thus providing a package which in cross-section has a wedge-like form. This package is then enclosed in a holder which may assume a variety of different forms, but in its preferred form is as shown in Fig. 1. This style of holderis formed of a single sheet of paper folded. into a loop 11 and held together at its corners by staples or other fastening means 12, so
as to leave a slit at'the bottom through which sheets may be withdrawn- The edges of the holder may be indented as shown at 13, to permit the user to'grip the edge of the lower and innermost sheet 14. The package may be provided with a tab 15 for hanging it up, which tab may be conveniently cut from the material forming the holder.
