Abstract
A pixel unit of a liquid crystal display includes a scan line, a data line, and a TFT on the substrate. The TFT on the substrate has a source connects with the date line, and a gate connects with the scan line. A shielding electrode is installed on the substrate, wherein the same metal layer makes the shielding electrode, the source and the drain. Also, the data line connects electrically with at least two different patterned metal layers which form in different time. And, a pixel electrode covers part of the shielding electrode and connects electrically with the drain.
