Description

In the agile gun barrel cleaning device, several ramrods were used (according to the number of barrels), driven back and forth with a crankshaft with a connecting rod or with a crank with a similar connecting rod and several brushes, rotated in order to simultaneously clean several trunks and their chamber.

In the schematic drawing of FIG. 1 - shows the top view of the device; FIG. 2- crank detail with a connecting rod for reciprocating the ramrods; FIG. 3-conical gearing to bring the brushes into rotation.

The crankshaft 1 (Fig. 1) rotates in the bearings 2 by means of a pulley 3 and a driving belt 4. The crank 5 is connected by a connecting rod 6 and crosshead 7 with a rod 8 to which the holder 9 is attached. To the latter one or more ramrods are attached. 10 for cleaning the gun barrels.

Pulleys 11 are mounted on the same shaft 1, transmitting rotation to rollers 12 by means of a belt drive 13 and pulleys 14. Brushes 15 are mounted on rollers 12, which clean and polish the chamber and the receiver.

A device for cleaning barrels can be performed on both sides of the crank (Fig. 2).

FIG. Figure 3 shows a modification of the device for cleaning the chamber and the receiver, in which the brushes 15 are arranged in a whole row connected by bevel gears with a long shaft.

The subject matter of the invention.

A device for cleaning gun barrels, characterized by using several by the number of trunks of ramrods 10, driven in reciprocating motion either by means of a crankshaft 1 with a connecting rod 6 (Fig. 1), or by means of a crank with a similar connecting rod (Fig. 2) and several brushes 15 driven in rotation either from a belt drive 13 (Fig. 1), or by means of a bevel gear (Fig. 3) in order to simultaneously clean the channels of several barrels and their chamber.
