Abstract
The invention relates to an emulsifying appliance, especially for emulsifying water into heavy fuel oil, in which the water is injected into the heated oil in a particular ratio with the aid of a nozzle (4), in order to improve the combustion efficiency. According to the invention, the water is heated to 80-120 DEG C in a water heating device (2), prior to being fed into the oil through a desmodromic (positively driven) valve (3), and the emulsion generated in this manner is treated in a mixer (5) which consists of a few homocentric and perforated cylindrical faces which rotate with respect to one another and through which the emulsion is forced to flow in order to achieve a better oil quality. <IMAGE>
